Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
Energy performance requirements for the EU building stock
What EPBD requires.
The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (Directive (EU) 2024/1275, recast) sets renovation, minimum energy performance, metering, building automation and charging requirements on the EU building stock. As a directive it binds the member states, so owners and operators are subject to national implementing obligations, and the operative levels are set on transposition.
Suppliers of renovation, HVAC and building-automation work are reached through their customers' procurement — a value-chain path.
EPBD is next on the same infrastructure in Regweaver OS.
Why it's hard.
Set nationally
The operative levels depend on how each member state transposes the directive.
Owners and operators
Obligations reach building owners and operators through national rules.
Suppliers through procurement
Renovation, HVAC and building-automation suppliers are reached through customer requirements.
Data across a portfolio
Requirements apply building by building, across whole portfolios.
How Regweaver helps.
EPBD requirements as structured requests
Turn EPBD requirements into structured requests that run through the same relationships as your other frameworks.
Across the value chain
Send requests to suppliers and partners in every tier you work with, and see which answers are outstanding.
Evidence tied to the requirement
Every answer and document is linked to the requirement it supports, so the trail is there when someone asks.
Versioned records
Answers and evidence are versioned and timestamped, so you can show what was known and when.
Who's affected.
You may not be in scope — but your customers are.
Companies in scope
Regulation impacts organisations — but execution happens across teams.
